Flashmob Contingent: SHINE Youth Festival 2012

SHINE Youth Festival 2012 is coming soon and in support of the festival, we are forming a 500-strong flashmob! RECRUITMENT STARTS NOW!

What is the SHINE Youth Festival 2012?
The SHINE Youth Festival was started in 2005 by the National Youth Council and has since provided a platform for the youths in Singapore to explore and showcase their passions. This year’s festival theme is “Aspirations” and will occur on 30^th June 2012.

Flashmob Contingent: FM4SHINE
The contingent is a youth initiated project in support of the SHINE Youth Festival. The organizing team is led by Kenneth Yeo, a passionate youth. To promote SHINE 2012’s theme for this year, the flashmob aims to inspire change in the lifestyle and cultures of youth’s today through dance as well as to promote healthy living.

 

Recruitment is now on for enthusiastic and energetic potential mobbers. No dance background is required as training will be provided in learning the dance choreography. As long as you’re enthusiastic and eager to learn, WE WANT YOU!

No age limit required, however youths of 15-30 years are preferred.

Weekly trainings commences from 24^th of April 2012. Training sessions will be from 6.30pm-9.30pm on Tuesday and Fridays at Youth Park (113 Somerset Rd, just besides the National Youth Council building, Singapore 238165).

The mob will be performing for a total of 3 times before the main event on 30^th June, which is when the final performance will take place.

You are welcomed to join us for any one of the key events, attendance for all key events are not compulsory. Check out the important dates below:
